Abstract: TheRomanian Civil Codedoes not contain a general theory of legal acts, but it allows for the doctrinal development of one based on the theory of contracts, applied appropriately to unilateral acts. This article explores a path for the doctrinal derivation of this theory, explaining through several examples (particularly from the area of law applicable to professionals) why such a theory would be useful.
