Part I

The 2009 Criminal Code, unlike the Criminal Code currently in force, introduces significant amendments and additions regarding the types of supplementary penalties, but particularly concerning the regulation of the supplementary penalty of deprivation of certain rights in terms of its content, application, and enforcement.  Regarding the types of supplementary penalties applicable to individuals, the 2009 Criminal Code established, in addition to the deprivation of certain rights and military demotion, a third supplementary penalty known as the publication of the final conviction.
