Abstract: Thisscholarly study examines the material and immaterial elements of the crime of child pornography under the criminal law of the Republic of Moldova, from the perspective of its compatibility with the provisions of the main international instruments in this area (in particular, the Lanzarote Convention and the Budapest Convention). Likewise, a comparative analysis of national (Moldovan) provisions is conducted, highlighting the content of certain criminalization provisions in the criminal laws of foreign states regarding the material and immaterial elements of the crime of child pornography.
